Geocaching Around Breadalbane – Cullerin – Gunning

Another day out geocaching around Breadalbane, Cullerin and Gunning NSW. We headed out from home at Cootamundra at about 9.00am and didn’t get home until about 6.00pm. It was a pretty full day. All up I think we covered around 400kms.

Out and about today doing some more geocaching this time between Breadalbane, Cullerin and Gunning NSW. Found 20 of them and had about half a dozen fails. We spent quite a bit of time on the ones that we missed but just couldn’t find them.

Lunch At The Telegraph Hotel In Gunning

Another pub to add to our list of those that we’ve had a beer in! It was a very nice beer too as they had Reschs on tap – my favourite! Lunch was very nice as well. Amanda and I both had a Telegraph Burger. Double Angus patties, bacon, an egg plus the usual salad stuff. The highlight of my burger was definitely the tomato relish on it and they weren’t stingy with it either.

The Town Of Gunning

We went for a walk around Gunning and it’s a great little town. Loads was open even on a Sunday and a lot of the old buildings are preserved as they were on the outside and still in use. One of them even had a spectacularly good ghost sign on the side of it. Amanda even managed to score some really nice peaches and apples from a fruit and veggie truck set up in the main street. Gunning reminded me a bit of Marulan.
